Eli Apple's Mother Took Shots at Urban Meyer

Eli Apple’s mother, Annie, took shots at Urban Meyer for his handling of domestic violence accusations against Zach Smith. The former Buckeye’s mother didn’t just take shots at Urban, she also went after his wife Shelley.

The tweets were in response to Meyer’s apology to Courtney Smith, which he tweeted out two days after his press conference.

12 hours, Urban had to come with compassion for a woman who was terrorized, abused. 9 yrs since he knew of her abuser’s first arrest of domestic violence, did nothing & continued to enable him. Not many in Buckeye Nation have been critical of Meyer or the school’s punishment of the head coach. In fact, Annie’s criticism of Meyer brought out the Buckeye’s trolls.
