Tyler Martin is a 6-foot-3, 227-pound linebacker who’s still in middle school. Keep an eye out for this potential Class of 2022 gridiron star. Jim Harbaugh and the Univeristy of Michigan have already offered this kid a scholarship. 

Athletes are getting recruited younger each year, and this is just how competitive things have become at the college level. It’s like an arms race, whoever gets to the kids first, will win in the long run. 

“We’ve had some outstanding players and outstanding eighth-graders,’’ said BB&N coach Mike Willey, “but the way he has developed has been impressive. He’s physically gifted and his work ethic has been tremendous. He has good instincts, he’s physically strong and is relentless in pursuit.
