Red Sox infielder Eduardo Nunez pinch hit for third baseman Rafael Devers in the bottom of the 7th inning with two runners on.  He hit the second pitch he saw from left-hander Alex Wood over the wall in left to put Boston up 8-4 and seal a Game 1 victory.

This series is far from over.  There are plenty of games left and both offenses are not easily shutdown.  Expect some more back and forth games with plenty of runs put up on the scoreboard.
