Things got wild at the end of the Quick Lane Bowl between Eastern Michigan and Pitt. There was a game winning touchdown with less than a minute on the clock and a quarterback who got ejected for throwing punches. All in the same game.
Eastern Michigan’s senior quarterback Mike Glass had his College Football career end with an ejection. After a play he got up and punched a Pitt player in the face mask. He then turned to another Pitt player and as he swung he caught and dropped a referee who was stepping in to break things up.
Glass ended up getting ejected for the ill-advised punches. The ejection came on Eastern Michigan’s final drive of the game after Pitt scored what ended up being the game winning touchdown to take a 34-30 lead with less than a minute left in the game. Heartbreak all around for the Eagles.
