Bryce Harper left Friday’s spring training game after being hit in the foot with a pitch. The early reports on the injury are encouraging.

The preliminary x-rays on Harper’s right foot came back negative and the injury was called a right foot contusion.
Phillies fans can breathe a little easier for now, he will be reevaluated on Saturday.

You would really hate to see Harper go down with an injury in spring training. You would really hate to see it.
They better get out the bubble wrap for the rest of the spring. Having their $330 million man out of the lineup when the season starts would be a shame for all of the fans who bought tickets after his signing.
A real shame.
