Veteran running back and return man Darren Sproles announced on Saturday that he would be retiring at the end of the season. The 36-year-old is on injured reserve with a torn right hip flexor muscle after only playing in six games this season.
The last three seasons for Sproles have ended early due to injuries. Prior to that he was selected to three straight Pro Bowls after three of his best seasons in the NFL.
