Eagles backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld exited Thursday night’s game against the Titans with his left arm in an air cast. He landed awkwardly on his arm after taking a hit and was later carted to the locker room.
Sudfeld was expected to be the backup behind starter Carson Wentz. Backing up Wentz has meant a significant role as a starter.
The last two seasons have ended early for Wentz due to injury. At this point it would appear as if someone else is going to have to step in as Wentz’s backup. An air cast is never a good thing and could keep Sudfeld sidelined for months.
