The Eagles had a ton of holes to fill prior to the draft, backup quarterback was not high on the list of needs. That didn’t keep general manager Howie Roseman from taking quarterback Jalen Hurts in the second-round.
Fans were extremely upset with pick and the backlash about the pick seemed to catch Roseman completely off guard.
It could be because he knew they planned to use Hurts like the Saints use Taysom Hill and the fans didn’t. It could also be because Roseman has no idea who the fan base is.
