Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who left Sunday’s loss to the Rams in the first quarter, saw a hand specialist in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
According to Ian Rapoport, Brees suffered a ligament injury to his right thumb.
The injury could require surgery and could keep him off of the field. Brees and the Saints should know more later today.
