Days after re-signing with the New Orleans Saints on a two-year, $50 million deal, quarterback Drew Brees and his wife Brittany announced plans on Thursday for a $5 million donation to the state of Louisiana with various organizations to deliver 10,000 meals per day.
Brees isn’t the only Saint that’s been involved in the fight against the coronavirus with head coach Sean Payton being diagnosed with the disease earlier this month.

On Wednesday, Payton told WWL radio in New Orleans that he’s feeling much better.
