Simmons got 90 first-place media votes and 10 second-place votes to total 481 points. Mitchell received 11 first-place votes and 89 second-place votes (323 total). So Mitchell finished second place in the voting, but many feel based off his playoff performance, he deserved the award. 

Looks like he’s still doing ROY Things off the court. One year ago Hayward was breaking hearts. Today Donovan Mitchell was eating ribs and chilling with fans at their houses. 

After this little display of Patriotism, they should just give the man the Rookie of the Year award. I bet you Simmons is just spending time with Kendall Jenner and her film crew.
