John McEnroe said on “In Depth with Graham Bensinger” that Donald Trump once offered him $1 million to play either Serena or Venus Williams in tennis. He says he received an envelope while calling a match with the offer from the now President.
Trump wanted a battle of the sexes? Go figure. We can assume McEnroe turned down the offer because he knew at his age he wouldn’t be able to beat either Williams sister in a match.
If Trump is still looking for someone to take them on he can toss the $1 million my way. I’ll take either one or both of them on. It wouldn’t be much of a battle but I could find ways to feel better about the loss.
