The Miami Dolphins released receiver Danny Amendola on Friday. The 33-year-old signed a 2-year, $12 million deal with the team before last season.
Amendola had 59 catches for 575 yards and just one touchdown in 15 games. The move will save the Dolphins $6 million.

It looks like the Patriots aren’t the only team that doesn’t want to pay the 30-something year old receiver. There are options for Amendola, one of them would be to crawl back through New England’s doggy dog.
Maybe he can trick Adam Gase to overpay him again in New York.
