Dolphins defensive tackle Kendrick Norton has suffered a career ending injury during an early morning car accident. The initial reports were that the former seventh-round pick was in critical care following the accident.
Reports now are that Norton’s vehicle rolled in during the multi-car accident and paramedics who responded to the scene had to amputate his left arm.
This is terrible news for the young defensive tackle who was expected to compete for a spot on Miami’s 53 man roster.
Unfortunate news: The overnight, rollover crash involving Dolphins DL Kendrick Norton resulted in paramedics having to amputate his left arm at the scene, multiple sources tell me.

With sadness, I can confirm that Kendrick Norton was in a car accident last night and suffered multiple injuries, including the amputation of his arm. We ask that you continue to pray for him. His family also asks that the public respect Kendrick’s privacy.

This was the kind of news that nobody wanted to hear. Thoughts and prayers go out to Norton through what is definitely going to be a difficult time.
