The Los Angeles Dodgers are motivated to move some money off their current roster in order to pursue free agents. On their list of players to move is outfielder Yasiel Puig, who has been brought up in trade talks with the Cincinnati Reds.
Puig isn’t the only outfielder that could find a new home before next season. The Dodgers could move several from their overpopulated positions to make some room for Bryce Harper.
#Dodgers, #Reds have talked multiple times, sources tell The Athletic. Different packages being discussed; Puig in play as well as other LAD outfielders, pitchers. Dodgers want to clear money for other pursuits. Puig projected $11.3M in arb, per @mlbtraderumors, Alex Wood $9M.

Expect it to be a busy season in Los Angeles. They aren’t happy with being back-to-back World Series losers.
The Dodgers know they have to move quickly if they expect to win one in the next couple of seasons.
