Doctors believe a Super Bowl parade in San Francisco following a 49ers win could have help to spread the coronavirus throughout the city and state of California. The fact that they lost slowed that spread.
San Francisco’s first case of COVID-19 was reported just days before the Super Bowl. Kansas City on the other hand, didn’t have their first case until the middle of March.
