Last week the Heat announced that Dion Waiters had been suspended by the team for the third time this season. Officially the team said he was suspended for “his failure to adhere to team policies, violation of team rules and continued insubordination.”
As we expected at the time, the real reason Waiters was suspended came out. Heat reporter Ethan Skolnick was the one to break the story.
Skolnick said on a livestream on Twitter that Waiters claimed to be sick, but posted a picture on social media of himself having fun on a boat.
