After Villanova shot Kansas out of the Final Four with an NCAA Tournament record 18 three pointers, Dick Vitale called for changes to the game. He wants a wider lane and a deeper three pointer.
Dickie V took to social media to voice his new found complaints (sounds like someone had money on Kansas). He says the college game is boring and it needs more cutting and driving.
The time has come to push the 3-point line back to the international distance and widen the lane. The game is becoming dominated too much by the 3-point shot.

It’s an interesting take considering this year’s tournament has been one of the more entertaining in recent history.
It sounds to me like Dickie V wants to make College Basketball Great Again. Maybe he would also prefer an actual basket over nets?
