Dez Bryant took to Instagram on Friday night and showed his support for Kareem Hunt following the news that the Chiefs had released him. The post was up for about 15 minutes before someone likely told him to take it down.
In the caption of the post, Bryant says he wants to know what the woman did to provoke Hunt, while also making a bizarre comparison to mass shooters. He also said nobody is perfect and he supports Hunt.
There’s a lot to uncover in this statement and the caption that went along with it. One thing is certain from the post, Bryant doesn’t get it.
After the deletion of the ignorant comments, he took to Twitter to respond to comments about the post and defend the post.
I made it clear I don’t support domestic violence.. I believe we should make this issue bigger than the video that’s being surfaced around.. being provoked is a big issue.. especially for stars ..if we don’t learn to help and support others it stays a cycle https://t.co/fKcAgKGiAy

I think you just added a bunch of false info in your statement.. I never in my life hit my mother… BROTHA the media made you believe that.. it’s obvious you never you knew about my life circumstances as a child https://t.co/xPX4MlNruk

That’s your assumption.. how many situations stars who wanted to be themselves and gotten in trouble or accused of something?..it’s an issue you might never understand because you never lived it https://t.co/obDItbpJnv
