The fight to keep Robert Kraft’s sex tape from being released to the media is still going strong. On Wednesday a judge didn’t didn’t make a ruling on whether or not to throw the video out as evidence, but did order Robert Kraft to appear in court later this month.
Via Palm Beach Post:
After three days, about 20 hours of testimony and one instance of a prosecutor referring to a defense attorney with an expletive, a hearing over the admissibility of video evidence in Robert Kraft’s prostitution-solicitation case against ended Wednesday with something the New England Patriots owner had hoped to avoid: an order to appear in court.
Kraft, 77, wants County Judge Leonard Hanser to throw out surveillance-camera footage that allegedly shows him paying for and receiving sex acts at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter on Jan. 19 and 20.
Hanser did not say when he would decide on the defense motion to quash evidence but ordered that Kraft, a part-time Palm Beach resident, appear in court on May 21 for a calendar call, during which attorneys will inform the court whether they are ready for trial. Kraft has yet to appear in person since he was charged.
While no determination on the tape was made, the court did get to hear some details about the tape when a Jupiter Police Department detective testified. The detective said the masseuse started touching the 77-year-old Patriots owner in the butt crack area.
JPD Det. Hirsch testifies those viewing the video footage live took notice when the masseuses began "putting fingers into the butt crack area" before the lights were turned off.

These are clearly very important details in the soliciting prostitution case against Kraft. Why stop there? If they don’t allow the release of the tape just have a detective go into great detail about it while they testify.
