Someone needs to tell Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman it’s still the preseason. He is blowing people up and taking heads off.
On Sunday Perryman laid out Saints running back Devin Ozigbo. He met the ball carrier in the backfield and forced a red zone turnover.
Ozigbo saw the hit coming, but slipped trying to cut to avoid it. Perryman drilled him and sent the ball flying. The loose ball was picked up by the Chargers.
