Red Sox centerfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. misplayed a ball into a homerun for Tampa Bay’s Denard Span. The awful misplay played two runs and erased the Red Sox 1-0 lead.
Bradley Jr. took a bad angle to a sinking line drive and had the ball roll all the way to the fence when he fell on his face trying to correct the poor route.

It proved to not be the Red Sox day as they lost Saturday’s game 12-6. Maybe next time he’ll do a better job of reading the ball off the bat.
That or he’ll gift another homerun to someone. Span should take him out to dinner for that misplay.
