Toronto Raptors All-star DeMar DeRozan threw down the hammer. With 10.1 seconds left and his team trailing 112-111, the Raptors star took the ball and drove coast-to-coast.
DeMar DeRozan drives to the cup and throws down the monster dunk with time expiring on the clock. That’s how you finish at the rim.
This came on a week after DeRozan opened up about his mental health. DeRozan talked with the Toronto Star last week about his bouts with depression, saying they can often become overwhelming.
“It’s one of them things that no matter how indestructible we look like we are, we’re all human at the end of the day,” DeRozan told The Star. “Sometimes … it gets the best of you, where times everything in the whole world’s on top of you.”
"It made me feel, you know, pretty damn good, honestly. So it's cool to be able to help somebody." – @DeMar_DeRozan on Kevin Love's Players' Tribune article pic.twitter.com/wyvmoSOuAB

“The last week has been one of the most incredible things that I have witnessed, period,” DeRozan said Everything I got back from it was so positive.”
Now he has this dunk to add to his resume. No doubt he’ll remember this slam for the rest of his life.
