The dead body found at the home of Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins has been identified. His name is Roosevelt Rene and he was a friend of Jenkins’ and had been living at the house.

The death is being investigated as a homicide. It is believed Rene was strangled or suffocated.
Per law enforcement sources, police are investigating a possible strangulation/suffocation as the cause of death in the case of the body found at Giants CB Janoris Jenkins’ home.

The plot thickens. Jenkins, who was in Florida when the body was found, will remain there at this time.
