Dak Prescott’s brother just can’t help himself.

The Dallas Cowboys failed to make a move at the deadline, once again failing to make any trades. The Dallas Cowboys attempted to make a trade at the NFL deadline but failed to get speedy wideout Brandin Cooks. Sports Illustrated reported that the Texans and Dallas Cowboys were discussing a deal for Brandin Cooks and were in the neighborhood on compensation, but that guaranteed salary became the deal-breaker.

According to the report, the Dallas Cowboys simply ran out of time.

Following the report, Tad Prescott, Dak Prescott’s brother, took to Twitter and expressed how disappointing it is to hear this same thing every year from the franchise.

“I really love this team, but why do we get this same tweet every year. We were going to trade but ran out time, you can make the deal before deadline day,” Prescott tweeted.

Cooks was rumored to be one of the deadline’s available big-name players despite signing a two-year, $39.8 million extension with the Texans this past offseason. He is listed as questionable for Thursday’s game against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. Cooks has a fully guaranteed salary of $18 million for the 2023 season and is under contract through 2024.

The 20th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft has been productive in each place he has been sent to.

His 2022 season has been slow so far, with only 32 receptions for 354 yards and a score in seven games.

Dak Prescott’s brother should just not tweet, I mean, who the hell does that help?  Dak has enough on his plate to deal with.
