Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney announced on Monday that the NCAA informed him that three players failed drug tests. Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, offensive lineman Zach Giella and tight end Braden Galloway have all failed drug tests for the banned substance ostarine.
This puts their availability for Clemson’s Cotton Bowl matchup with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in question. They still have a B sample to clear their name, although it could confirm the failure.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said NCAA notified DT Dexter Lawrence, OL Zach Giella & TE Braden Galloway they failed drug tests with sliver of ostarine. Players thought it was a joke at first. More clarity to come with B sample later in week

They will know by Wednesday whether or not the B sample will clear their name or lead to a suspension.
