Cris Colllinsworth Expects Patrick Mahomes to Land a $50 Million a Season Extension

“There’s no question he’s going to be the highest-paid player in the history of the league …,” Collinsworth said of Mahomes. “If it comes in at anything less than $50 million (per year), I’d be really surprised.”

That’s an absurd amount of money.  But if we’re putting it side-by-side with the number Dak Prescott could be receiving, it isn’t as absurd. 

Mahomes is definitely head and shoulders better than Prescott.  His contract should reflect that.
