The Kansas City Chiefs are going to have to sign Patrick Mahomes to a long-term extension in the very near future. With an MVP and a Super Bowl win already under his belt they’re hoping to delay that as long as possible.
With good reason too. The extension will make Mahomes the highest paid player in the history of the league, with talks of an average of $50 million a season.
