During the Coyotes 3-2 win over the Oilers on Saturday, Arizona’s Conor Garland took a shot off of the face and scored a goal. Talk about the wrong place at the wrong time.
Garland was crosschecked from behind and knocked to the ice right next to the goalie. As he was attempting to get back up he was hit in the face.

Not an ideal way to score a goal. After scoring the goal off of his face, he did an interview during the second intermission, while still bleeding from the cut on his face.
Connor Garland took a puck to the face and scored…what did you do this Saturday? Still bleeding, he took time to STILL answer questions from @ToddWalsh. pic.twitter.com/tr48gWn5Wy

On Sunday Garland had a black eye to go along with the cut on the side of his head. Gotta love hockey guys.
A day later, that black eye really is filling in for Conor Garland. pic.twitter.com/UxoF1yVyjg
