Stephen Jones was asked about reports that the Cowboys reached out to Saints head coach Sean Payton last offseason. Dallas’ executive vice president denied the reports and tried to shift focus to this weekend’s matchup against the Eagles.
Jones added some praise for current head coach Jason Garrett after a blowout win over the Rams.
Sunday’s win was the Cowboys first win this season over a team with a winning record. Jones thinks the team is back on track and credits Garrett for it.
