The Colts were going to get a veteran quarterback this offseason one way or another. They signed 38-year-old former Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers to a one-year, $25 million deal.
If Rivers didn’t sign they were reportedly prepared to trade for Andy Dalton. They must not believe Jacoby Brissett, who they gave a two-year, $30 million contract to after Andrew Luck retired, is the answer at quarterback.
