Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts has reportedly entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. The move allows schools to contact him, setting up the possibility that he could transfer from Alabama.

Hurts has one year of eligibility left. He lost the starting job to Tua Tagovailoa in the National Championship game last season and would likely remain behind him on the depth chart next season.
Hurts already graduated from Alabama and wouldn’t have to sit out if he were to transfer. If he doesn’t want to waste another year of eligibility he’ll definitely transfer.
