Eastern Illinois University and Jacksonville State University celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by fighting in the middle of their baseball game. It all started with a hard slide into the catcher by a JSU player who was attempting to score from third base.

The slide looks clean and the catcher didn’t appear to suffer any injury, probably because he’s wearing protective gear, but that didn’t stop a brawl from breaking out. The bench clearing brawl did eventually end and they finished the game with Eastern Illinois taking home the win.

No word on if the soft ass catcher remained in a puddle or if they were able to toughen him up long enough for him to return to his human form.
