During the latest episode of his Podcast “Reasonable Doubt” (Kap talk begins around the 11:27 minute mark) with Adam Carolla, Colin Kaepernick’s attorney Mark Geragos talked about his client’s Nike ad campaign. He confirmed that there will be Nike Kaepernick apparel coming, including a shoe.
Carolla asked Geragos for some details around the deal with Nike, including if it was a mulit-year deal or a one and done campaign with the shoemaker. Kaepernick’s attorney confirmed it was a multi-year deal and that it goes beyond just commercials.
“Over the course of years, and it includes apparel, and there will be a shoe, and there will be a t-shirt, and there will be a jersey.”
That should be interesting. Nike is cashing in big time on this deal with the blackballed quarterback.
