FOX Sports host Colin Cowherd went through a list of players that he didn’t buy into, but everyone else did. There were a couple of names he probably could have left off of that list, especially since he was attempting to prove himself right.
Cowherd lumped Cam Newton in with guys like Johnny Manziel and Tim Tebow. He also mentioned Russell Westbrook in the same breath as John Wall.
It’s an absolutely ridiculous take. Both Newton and Westbrook have won league MVPs. Newton has done things we’ve never seen a quarterback do before and Westbrook is a triple double machine.
On the flip side, Manziel and Tebow are out of the league, Wall is inconsistent and injury prone and Carmelo Anthony, who Cowherd also mentioned is out of the league.
