Colin Cowherd couldn’t hide his hatred of Browns rookie Baker Mayfield, even on Christmas Eve. He wasn’t a fan of the quarterback’s stare down of former head coach Hue Jackson after he beat the Bengals for the second time since Hue joined the coaching staff in Cincinnati.
Cowherd called the cocky 23-year-old, who many think is the rookie of the year, a “child playing quarterback.” He called him accurate and a winner with limited athletic ability and rattled off a list of quarterbacks he would rather have.
"He's a very accurate thrower of the football, and he also yesterday taunted a coach…Long-term I'll take a grown up. I'll take Wilson, Luck, Darnold. I won't take taunting a coach who got fired & crazy, took another job."@ColinCowherd on Baker Mayfield staring down Hue Jackson pic.twitter.com/p6eLVhDpq9

Cowherd’s trashing of Mayfield makes absolutely no sense. Being accurate and a winner are more important than athletic ability.
Just look at a guy named Tom Brady, ever heard of him? You can have Sam Darnold, his athletic ability and his Ls, the Browns will take Baker and his Ws.
