Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney told reporters on Monday that junior receiver Justyn Ross will miss the entire season due to a congenital fusion in his neck and spine. He will have surgery on Friday.
The potentially career threatening injury was discovered after an X-ray in the spring. Ross was forced to sit out a practice after a hit he took. Doctors are hopeful that he will be able to play again.
