Donnetta Etienne, the mother of Clemson running back Travis Etienne, sent out a tweet on Monday afternoon saying that their family was receiving death threats from LSU fans ahead of the National Championship game.
“We from Louisiana. We are getting all kind of threats.”
On Tuesday, Donnetta, who lives in Jennings, Louisiana about an hour and a half away from the LSU campus, did an interview with The Greenville News to discuss the threats in detail.
