Roberts revealed on Friday that Kershaw was dealing with some sort of arm issue, possibly “dead arm.” The fact that a couple of days of rest hasn’t resolved the issue has to be a little concerning for the Dodgers.
Despite the rest not helping Kershaw’s dead arm, Los Angeles has yet to schedule an MRI to see if there are any underlying issues that might be causing the discomfort.
Roberts said an MRI hasn't been scheduled for Kershaw.

That’s an interesting strategy. If there is something going on with Kershaw that needs attention, it’s still early enough to get it taken care of before the start of the season.
