What a way to lose a game.
Cincinnati took a one point loss on Saturday to Colgate after an ill-advised halfcourt shot was launched by Jarron Cumberland with five seconds left in the game. After the missed halfcourt shot, the Bearcats were called for a foul. That put a member of the Raiders on the free throw line.
Colgate makes a free throw and wins the game. Everyone in the building is left wondering what was going through Cumberland’s head as he launched a halfcourt shot with plenty of time on the clock.
