Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich’s season came to an early end on Tuesday night in Miami. The reigning NL MVP fouled a ball off of his knee in the first inning and suffered a fractured kneecap.
Yelich battled through multiple back issues this year but still managed to put together another MVP caliber season. The injury will likely cost him a shot at going back-to-back.
It will also hurt the Brewers postseason hopes.
