Christian Yelich has picked up 2019 right where he left off last season and then some. The reigning National League MVP now has 18 home runs on the year after hitting two on Thursday afternoon.
Yelich’s two no doubters took place during an 11-3 rout of the Phillies in Philadelphia, with the home team in their throwback baby blues.

What a start to the season for Yelich and what a waste of the baby blues for the Phillies. If you go with the throwbacks on Thursday afternoon, you have to win that game and if you don’t win, you can’t get crushed.
