It looks like Chris Sale’s early season struggles are behind him. After Wednesday night’s start he’s recorded double-digit strikeouts in three out of his last four starts.
Sale went 8 innings giving up just one run on three hits with 14 strikeouts. One of those innings was an immaculate inning.
In the 7th inning Sale faced 3 batters, threw 9 pitches and recorded 3 strikeouts.

It was much more fun when Sale was struggling. This has to have the teams in the American League East a little concerned.
A string of strong starts from Sale could wake Boston up and help to spark a run by the defending champs. Nobody outside of Boston wants to see that.
