Red Sox left hander Chris Sale went 8 strong innings against his former team the Chicago White Sox. He struckout 10 while allowing only one run.
Sale had a little extra juice for his former team and hit 100 MPH on a strikeout in the 5th inning. It was the fastest pitch of his entire career.
100.3 mph!
That's Chris Sale's fastest pitch EVER. ?? pic.twitter.com/2XQRbdHwPY

The outstanding outing was wasted by the Red Sox offense who failed to score a run on 4 White Sox pitchers. If you know Sale you know he would much rather have the win than join the 100 MPH club.
