Chris Johnson Has a Conspiracy Theory Involving John Ross Breaking His 40-Yard Dash Time

Retired running back Chris Johnson has a conspiracy theory involving John Ross breaking his 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine.  According to Johnson, the NFL was tired that nobody was beating his record and rigged the Ross time.

Johnson pointed out that on the side-by-side comparison, he pulled away from Ross at the end.  Then there’s the fact that it took much longer that normal for the league to post the official time.

Johnson’s not wrong.  Check out the video of Ross’ 40-yard dash against Johnson’s and you can see him pull away from Ross at the end.

With all that said, do we really think the NFL would purposely do something like this?  Even with video evidence.  That doesn’t sound like NFL I know.
