The Chicago Bears and wide receiver Allen Robinson resumed contract extension talks, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Robinson recently deleted references to the Bears on social media as he’s frustrated over the lack of progress between the sides. The star wideout reportedly feels disrespected by some of the offers he’s received.

The 27-year-old said Wednesday that he expects to finish this season with Chicago after trade rumors surfaced. Head coach Matt Nagy, who’s spoken with Robinson about the situation recently, said the pass-catcher is “confident that we want him to be here.”

Robinson led the Bears in receiving in each of the last two campaigns and is entering the final season of a three-year deal signed in 2018.

The one-time Pro Bowler posted one of his strongest NFL campaigns last year, racking up a career-high 98 receptions for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns.

The former second-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars amassed 74 yards on five receptions during the Bears’ 27-23 season-opening victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
