Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn was asked about his team’s quarterback situation after the departure of longtime quarterback Philip Rivers.
Back in February he said Tyrod Taylor had the opportunity to step up into the starting role.
On Wednesday, Lynn said Taylor was “in the driver’s seat, but nothing is finalized.” He was also asked about the possibility of signing former Panther Cam Newton.
Lynn gave a generic coaches answer to that by saying Cam is a good quarterback and that Los Angeles was “looking at everyone.”
