ESPN is expected to make a strong run at CBS broadcaster Tony Romo, the offer could be a record breaking one. Reports have suggested that the Worldwide Leader in Sports could be willing to offer the former Cowboys quarterback as much as $10 million or more.
CBS is aware that Romo will be a hot commodity and is reportedly preparing for a high-stakes fight to keep him. In other words, Romo is about to get a serious increase in salary from the $3 million he earned this season.
