For the second year in a row it appears that the Philadelphia Eagles will be without starting quarterback Carson Wentz. He missed last season’s Super Bowl run when he tore his ACL and handed the reins over to backup Nick Foles.
History could be repeating itself after it was revealed on Friday by head coach Doug Pederson that Wentz will need three months to fully recover from his back injury. He hasn’t yet been officially ruled out for this Sunday’s game, although it doesn’t look good.
#Eagles coach Doug Pederson says QB Carson Wentz’s injury has “evolved over time.” He called it a stress injury and says a full recovery would take 3 months.

If it’s determined that Wentz could injure himself further by playing his season would be over. Congratulations Philly, your franchise quarterback is made of glass.
