Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is just a couple of days into OTAs and is already missing his former backup Nick Foles. The two had been in the locker room together in Philadelphia since 2016.
Foles left for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the opportunity to be a starter in the NFL again. Wentz says he misses Foles’ laid back personality and his barista skills.
Wentz on Foles: "I just miss his personality. He’s so laid back, he’s so relaxed, and I’m kind of wired differently – I’m Type A, ‘go, go, go.’ …It was a good balance for me to see him and see his attitude. And I also miss all the coffee he made us. He was a good barista.”

Wentz won’t be the only one missing Foles when it’s all said and done. He saved the Eagles season two years in a row, including leading them to a Super Bowl win.
There’s no reason to believe Wentz won’t get hurt again and the Eagles won’t need a solid backup to save their season.
